The Lovers

Ahhhh the Lovers. I chose the Lovers as my February scent last year, for obvious reasons. And decided to bring it back this year.

Valentine’s Day seems to be fairly polarizing, but never fear, even if you are staunchly anti-Valentine’s Day I have a scent for you.

This post is very much camp “yay Valentine’s Day”. You have been warned.

The Lovers represents a beautifully fulfilling relationship in your life that’s as harmonious as it is aligned. Think soul mates. Whether it’s romantic or platonic, this is a forever relationship and it is seemingly blessed by the universe.

The Lovers is a symbol of balanced and mature love in a relationship. It is not jealous, it is not overbearing. This is the type of love that lasts lifetimes.

I wanted the Lovers to smell like a really fun night with a very not platonic partner. Hence the notes of fresh cut roses and leather ;-)

The Lovers can also represent reflecting on how you want to show up in this world, and then choosing to do so.

When in reverse, The Lovers in reverse suggests that you are out of balance when it comes to relationships - including the one you have with yourself.
